Nonetheless, Fasting is a religious compulsion for Muslims as the 3rd pillar of Islamic Faith. It is obligatory on every healthy and sane, adult Muslim. Hence, children are not required to fast until the age of puberty. However, some of them are much fascinated by the concept that it urges them to observe fast, out of curiosity, with their family from a very young age. Even if they are going to perform umrah with their family through umrah Ramzan package 2020 the zeal for fasting ever ceases!

Here are a few tips that can help you better teach your children in understanding and taking part in Ramadan.

Encourage but do not force.

Fasting helps children in learning self-discipline, enhances their self-control and develops a sense of forgiveness for others in them. It also enables them to discover new concepts of their faith. So that when they are religiously obliged to start fasting in adulthood the concept would not be alien to them at all rather, they are more committed to it. However not every child is the same. So, if your child isn’t willing to fast don’t ever force as Allah Almighty has also forbidden from doing so. Give them time to learn, and keep on encouraging them in a lovable manner.

Give them gifts.

Small gestures of kindness go a long way. Whenever your child does something good, reward them with gifts. It will help them in staying motivated to help as many people as they possibly can.

Make them learn Duas.
