Madinah is a city that remains situated in the most fertile land of Saudia Arabia in the entire Hejaz territory. It holds great virtues for Muslims. But it wasn’t always like this. It was narrated by Hazrat Aisha (RA) that: (description) When we came to Madinah, it was an unhealthy and uncongenial place; Abu Bakr (RA) fell sick and Bilal (RA) also fell sick; and when Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) saw the illness of his companions he (SAWW) made Dua for the city of Madinah. Consequently, it became a global centre and a health-giving, peaceful place for Muslims.

Home to the Oldest Mosques of Islam.

Madinah houses three of the oldest mosques of Islam. Namely;

  • Masjid-e-Nabawi.

A city that holds great rewards.

Madinah is a city of our Prophet (SAWW). The fact itself is sufficient enough to explain its virtues and benefits. Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW) narrated that; (description) For a believer, Madinah is the best place on earth. If people could understand its virtue fully, then they would never leave it. And whoever patiently bears the ordeals of Madinah, for him shall I be a witness on the Day of Qayamat.
